Major League Baseball’s 2023 season is officially here!

The 2023 regular season has kicked off, marking the first time in baseball history that the sport will be played against a clock which will likely shorten games and provide a more appealing pace for viewers. It will also be the first time, after years of testing, that a new set of rules will limit time between pitches, ban exaggerated shifts and curb the number of pickoff throws.

The teams to watch this season will be the San Diego Padres, the Philadelphia Phillies and Houston Astros, last year’s World Champions.
