Boxing Origin Rumble: Paul Gallen, Justin Hodges & Ben Hannant

Paul Gallen has never been one to shirk a challenge and, for possibly his final time in a boxing ring, he’s bitten off a big one. The former NRL premiership-winning skipper will attempt to fight two opponents in the one night.

Gallen will be taking on a pair of Queensland rugby league greats in Justin Hodges and Ben Hannant.

Hodges has been angling for a scrap with Gallen for several years, while Hannant, having only made his professional debut in June, will be back in action as well. Gallen has compiled an impressive 12-2-1 record in the ring and would go in as a big favourite against the 5-1 Hodges in a conventional format, but having to fight two different opponents on one night is a big ask, even considering Hannant’s inexperience.

This fight is sure to be filled with action, and there’s no better place to watch it than LIVE AND LOUD on one of Canberra’s biggest screens in the Onyx Lounge.
